Second External Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) Review Of The BS, MS & PhD Psychology Programs

The Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) at Foundation University Islamabad has successfully conducted the second External Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) review of the BS, MS and PhD Psychology programs at Foundation University School of Science & Technology (FUSST). For this purpose, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Dean - Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU) was invited as External Subject Expert on (Wednesday) April 06, 2022. The Subject Expert thoroughly reviewed the SARs of the BS, MS and PhD Psychology programs on 8 criterions and 31 standards as prescribed in the Self-Assessment Manual of HEC.  He also conducted interactive sessions with the Faculty and Students of the Psychology Department. He also reviewed the Compliance Report of the first Assessment Cycle of the same programs and appreciated the efforts of DQA and the Department of Psychology for the improvements made as a result of the first Assessment Cycle. The Subject Expert also visited the resources of FUSST including the library, Psychology Clinic, labs, faculty offices, lecture halls etc.  The exit meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fazal Rahim Khan, Dean - Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at FUSST, wherein the Subject Expert appreciated the efforts of Program Team (PT) members for preparing comprehensive SARs and also shared his recommendations for further improvement of the Psychology Department.
